Hopefully you'll read this.

The banner photo foliage is indeed Castor plant and the grass is Panicum 'Shenandoah.' Thank you for visiting. I tried the Dalea purpurea and it grew but when I planted them outside they disappeared, I'm not sure why. I might try them again. I got some pink pussytoes and put it in a dry sunny place, I can't say it spread much but it is still alive. I think I did put newpaper under mulch near them so maybe they couldn't spread well. I also like the short red peonies that don't flop, they look great.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773149110503024929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4685430032033752352.post-84336826160903431212013-10-10T20:16:04.268-07:002013-10-10T20:16:04.268-07:00Hi Grace - just stumbled onto your blog via a link...Hi Grace - just stumbled onto your blog via a link on another blog I stumbled onto (A Growing Obsession) while doing a plant search. Happy to have found you - lovely site! May I ask what the foliage is on your banner? It's beautiful - reminds me of my castor bean.Pattynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4685430032033752352.post-40181737186969352892013-10-10T12:39:39.186-07:002013-10-10T12:39:39.186-07:00You have a lovely wish list. Annie's Annuals offers a shocking pink Viscaria, although it's not available now. Leucadendron 'Jester' is available at Roger's Garden, an Orange County nursery, if you find yourself in southern California - these do well in our hot, dry garden but I can't speak for their tolerance for frost and heavy rain.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.com
