Isabella's

Right around the corner from my garden is Isabella's. Owner and curator Paula named this slice of paradise after her beloved [and adorable] lop-eared bunny, [see photo below]. Carol and I had the pleasure of perusing the garden and shop today. I took about a gazillion photos but narrowed it down to, okay still a lot. Enjoy.

This is a chandelier with fresh picked flowers. Awesome!

Isabella's is mainly a rose garden but there is always room for whimsy!

The plants weren't tagged so I'm not sure what Clemmy this is, but ain't she a beaut?

 Stunning combo, don't you think?

 More whimsy!

The entrance to the rose garden is irresistible.

 Paula is a designer-extraordinaire.
Around every corner was a sweet surprise.

My photo doesn't do this justice.
This arbor was completely smothered in dangling wisteria
and a deep pink rose. Stunning!

 Check out the vegetable garden.

  3. Wow, thanks for sharing Grace. I love the wisteria and roses together. It looks amazing! And the honeysuckle picture is so pretty I can almost smell the sweet scent. Did you buy anything fun?

  4. Grace, Grace, Grace! What a wonderful set up she has. I love the name Isabella. I zoomed in on the bed to the left in the photo with the containers on the table and was so hoping that you photographed it, thanks. The wisteria also caught my eye straight away. DH built me a large trellis/arbor/thingy for mine in hopes that it will become something like this one. And then the little semp growing in the rusty lantern. I can almost here your camera clicking away as you ooh and aah at every turn. How nice to have this right around the corner from your own beautiful gardens!

  10. I want the bed, and I want it in my front yard. Then I want the gorgeous white clematis and the pale pink rose. That's all. Not much.

  13. omg, I knew I was going to love your tour from the very first photo. I think I'd still be there ~ it looks like the kind of place you can spend hours and hours at and still never see everything. How fabulous to have it nearby.
I am DIG, DIG, digging the chandelier!!!!!!! That is just to die for. I'm trying to think where I could put one!
Do you suppose that double white clematis is 'Artic Queen?' It IS truly beautiful. But so is everything. Really. I love all the ornamentation & whimsical pieces. That church bird feeder is awesome and so is the very cool obelisk in the last photo.
Great tour Grace. I wish I lived close to you ~ I'd have wanted to tag along!!!

  15. Thanks for taking us with you to this awesome place! I enjoyed your photos. Some of them reminded me of your place.

I am cleaning out my email, and am glad I hadn't deleted your comment about the silene. I'm glad to read that it may get taller. I may have planted some other things near it, so that's good to know.

Ok...love just about all of it.
Isn't it fun how stone, wood, planters and metal add sooo much interest to the garden.
