While running errands today I found this Euonymous growing near a parking lot. Talk about variegated!
Here's a closeup.
Here are some end of the month [May] photos of my garden.
Thank you to all of you who've found me and have become regular visitors. It sure means a lot.
I'm glad we found you, too ! We just stumbled onto your blog before it disappeared. Finally found you again as a link on another garden blog. Woo-hoo !
ReplyDeleteLove your garden, and garden junk -- we have so much in common. Well...except you have rain and we don't. :-)

That Euonymus looks like it is trying to revert back to the green it once was. The solid yellow is quite bright!
ReplyDeleteHi Grace,
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog this week and I love it! I'm in Salem, so it is really nice to see what someone in the same zone is growing. Thank-you for sharing the great photos!

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIs that a catalpa tree, or something else, whose leaves are just visible in the last photo?
Your gardens are gorgeous. Looking forward to the regular updates on them!
Speaking of finding you... for some reason your blog was not updating on my blogroll or my googlereader! I finally decided today to see if everything was okay with you because your blog said removed! Anyhow, I went to Jean's blog and her link worked and now I'm back! I've updated my link for others who might be in the same boat as I was.
ReplyDeleteWow! That Euonymous us so bright it hurts my eyes! Everything else is looking nice and lush.
ReplyDeleteGrace I have that Euonymous, last year I posted about it and a lot of readers said to rip it out because of the mite looking things that get on it....I just couldn't, I give it a good hair cut from time to time and all is fine. Your gardens are looking great. May I inquire as to what is in the container that appears to be under the hanging window?
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks quite beautiful. Very full. Love all the variety.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you, Grace, for always being so GRACEious inviting us into your lovely garden, answering our questions and visiting us in return. You are a great garden treasure.
ReplyDeleteNice header photo!
ReplyDeleteOh love the colour - you have mixed the different colours and textures in your garden so well too!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the plants we find in parking lots! It is a bright one.
ReplyDeleteYour yard is amazing, so full of color and lots of things to see.
I enjoy coming here.
My God Woman you have such a bunch of cool stuff!!!! Yeah, picture me drooling with absolute envy if you can!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is like The Secret Garden. It looks like one could spend hours and still not see everything! I love all of the galvanized pots and pails :)

Grace, I'm laughing at the euonymous... reversion to the mean. I am constantly cutting out the dark solid green and that seems to work.
ReplyDeleteLUV the new header of your garden. I think I'll sit a spell in one of your chairs because I know it's going to take some time to look around. I can smell the beauty.
Oh I love your garden. Are you going to do a Utube video tour for us one day?
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more.

Grace girl how are you !!
ReplyDeleteWow on all these great photos and how beautiful your garden is growing : )
I have been up to my elbows ripping a major bed apart and trying to think on the fly what to do with it and the many plants I am trying to get in it .. what can I say other than, Y&R is totally crazy ? haha .. now what are they going to do with Colin and dead guy comes back to life to scare Lily to death ? haha .. let alone Daisy and Phyllis conundrum ... jeez !
Back to gardening ? much easier on the brain if hard on the body ? haha
Joy : )
I love all your different containers !
Hi Grace,
ReplyDeleteI like your new header photo. And I ALWAYS love seeing any views of your gorgeous garden. I'm a fan of variegation...You must really be enjoying May/June in the PNW.
