June's Joys

It's a gorgeous, party-cloudy June day. The temp reads 60 degrees F at this 11th hour of the morning.
Here are a few of the highlights making me happy this fine morning.

  1. Isn't it amazing what a difference a month and a few rays of sunshine can make? Looks like you will have photos aplenty to see you through the next bleak stretch.

  8. Grace your gardens are incredible! I love that you feature photos of many "volunteers" too. It is terrific how some plants can make themselves at home in a way that works perfectly for the gardener. I hope you get on some garden tours in your town!

  10. This time of year I want more roses and more Clematis! You have some very pretty Clematis that I don't have. My 'Little Duckling' (Or Piilu as the tag says) is close to blooming. I lost the tag to my newest Clematis and when I get a good picture I hope you'll help me id it.
Your garden is looking amazing right now!

  11. I always devour your photos, there is such a clarity to them.

And your garden, it's beyond...my wildest dreams. I seriously can't wait to have and create a garden that will only be a fraction as beautiful as yours. I love the gravel paths, and the rocks lining them....

  12. Feel like I just went on a garden tour with lots of surprises. Your garden beds are awesome, love the little duckling. I see you like what some might call crowded beds...I love it that way ! Give me more.

  13. I love your place! I've never seen variegated comfrey before. Do you have to cut it back after it blooms? My regular ones get leggy, and I start to trim them, but end up cutting them to the ground, where new leaves have formed. It grows back up, and I'm thinking blooms again.
