IT'S BEEN AWHILE SINCE I've posted but I'm back. Last Saturday my garden buddies and I went on a garden tour. Although I didn't make note of any real stand-out plants, there were many pretty vignettes with garden art and nice pots. Because I've got 47 (!) photos, I'll keep my comments brief.
Enjoy!
So what's your favorite?
Gorgeous! I'm such a sucker for rust and mosaics. Love the greenhouse and that's also a beautiful Hakone grass.
ReplyDeleteLoved the tour. Thanks for sharing. Alot of great ideas here.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. So much to see, all of it beautiful and colorful and it all speaks volumes.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I love the S mosaic, the lady statue with her hands clasped at her head, the hope heart, garden paths. The vignettes are all wonderful really.
Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
Do I HAVE to pick a favorite? Well, I would like to have a garden shed like that with all the windows.....
ReplyDeleteYour eye (and camera) gravitated to the same things I would have photographed! I'm a huge admirer of yard art!
(You HAVE been missed, by the way.)
They're all very nice, but my favorite is the little girl and boy sitting on a bench. And I always like to see ways hens and chicks are grown.
ReplyDeleteGrace, thanks for sharing these awesome photos of gardens beyond belief. Since mine is still languishing in the cool, shady days of the Portland area, there isn't much blooming yet. I'm trying to be patient, and these goodies were balm to my soul that there is still hope!
ReplyDeleteFrom fun and funky to refined and sophisticated...it's always entertaining to see creativity unleashed in the garden. Favorite? The garden shed/greenhouse, hands down.
ReplyDeleteI came back from the ANLD tour with 276 photos, so sorting through those will be a major effort.
I like them all and am dying to take a snooze on that little couch. :o)
ReplyDeleteI love garden art as I get so many great ideas...I have that fairy with the book although she is a different color...and I saw that milkweed...wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat garden art! Love the colored bottles on the pole.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday Grace. You must have enjoyed the tour. Hard to pick a favourite but I like the row of watering cans.
ReplyDeleteGrace, these are such enjoyable photos! Even though I took the tour, I missed most of what your keen eye captured in these images! Thanks for the second look, rendered through the eyes of an artist!
ReplyDeleteWould you believe that in my 37 years of life, 18 of them spent gardening in my own dirt, I've never been on a garden tour? How fun. I love too many of your photos to list, but I think my favorite of the post has to be the hope stepping stone.
ReplyDeleteLove the greenhouse/garden shed and really everything else! So much fun stuff! What a great sunny day for a garden tour! We're back to rain today. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteFor garden art I like the zany mosaic cat's head on the post. For a garden vignette I like the nice flagstone path with the hostas and foxglove in the last photo. Lots of cool photos!
ReplyDeleteA warm hello from Grants Pass!
ReplyDeleteHi grace, Thank you for stopping by my recovery blog :-) Nice to meet a fellow pal from Oregon. I just LUV your blog here and will be following you, as one of my hobbies besides writing is gardening! Have a great day! *Catherine*
I love garden tours, Grace -- I love to steal the great ideas I get from them. Can't pick a favorite here, but I may copy the birdhouses on the step ladder. P. x
ReplyDeleteTruly a great gardening blog...love such natural beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Gracie !!
ReplyDeleteI loved all of these art works for the garden .. especially all the sedum containers ... and that larch was just too cute !
I always think everyone else's art work is so much nicer than mine!LOL
