Garden Tour Photos

A FEW WEEKS AGO I POSTED many of the photos taken during the garden tour in June. Today I thought I'd post a few more for your viewing pleasure.

Doesn't this variegated Iris look almost too perfect? (Almost)

Nice silvery color echo

The Jasmine's in bloom...

Everyone went gaga over this plant but I was the only one that new the name.
Maltese Cross. It pays to read your seed catalogs.

Cupid's Dart looking much better than mine!

Ice Plant looking incredible!

Veronica

Cool looking Celosia

Nice vignette

Not sure what plant this is but it's cool

I'm not a big lover of blue but this is cute.

Lovely miniature yellow rose

This climbing hydrangea was outstanding

Alstromeria

An early Lily

I love this pretty rose

Yellow Coreopsis you won't see in my garden but it looks nice in this border.

And finally one of the nicer displays of Clemmy seed heads I've seen.

I hope you all are enjoying your gardens. This is the time of year to celebrate our achievements. I am going to visit your blog soon I promise.

  1. Great pictures! Garden tours are so much fun. I love the seedheads on Cupid's Dart. I think your unknown plant is Parthenocissus tricuspidata aka Boston ivy.

  10. What a lovely tour Grace. I love that Maltese Cross! Add to the never ending list. LOL! Not like blue??? Horrors! LOL! I love blue and I forget what color you like. Not! LOL! That is a pretty rose. That is a cool mystery plant. Looks like they lined all the leaves up just for you. Thanks for the tour. Seems all we have here is rain but I am afraid to complain because it may got straight into drought mode.

  14. I loved seeing the climbing hydrangea and I'm going to take the computer outside and show MY climbing hydrangea so it knows what to work toward. Garden tours are great. But, you don't like blue flowers Gracie?! It's the color I love best of all in the garden!

  16. Beautiful garden tour, I am a tad bit jealous as I love to tour gardens! I do satisfy myself with trips to some of the nursery's around here.
I particularly liked the fern contrasting with the building.

  18. What a great garden tour. I'd never seen that cool fuzzy-wuzzy celosia before - perfect to have it in a pot so they could show it off.

  19. Beautiful! I have Maltese Cross in my garden and love it. It's really hard to kill, which is a bonus. I love the coreopsis but deadheading those is a pain in the butt. Of course, that doesn't stop me from buying them! :o)
